Tina Coleman, MSN, APRN, ACNP-BC, CRNFA
Mrs. Tina Coleman is a nationally certified and licensed Adult Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and Certified Registered Nurse First Assistant. She comes from a military family and grew up in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She attended Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, TX, where she received her bachelor’s degree in nursing. It was during her nursing career that she discovered a love for surgery and surgical patients, achieving her certification as a registered nurse and first assistant in surgery, the highest level attainable for surgical registered nurses. She then attended the University of Texas at Arlington where she received her master’s degree in nursing as a nurse practitioner.
As a nurse practitioner, Tina worked for a neurosurgery group and surgical assistant company prior to joining the Southwest Scoliosis and Spine Institute. She assists our physicians with patient care in the clinic and in the operating room.
